Bucket list Experience- Dennis is a godsend!
We were looking for a more personalized tour of the ATM cave for our family and Dennis was a Godsend! My husband, my son who is 13, and I were staying at a resort south of Belmopan and he was able to accommodate a meet up in teakettle which is very convenient to the park. Be sure to book this in advance. ATM requires a guide and Dennis is in high demand because he is a true local - having grown up ... more in the vicinity. His knowledge and experience allows him to provide a very specialized tour of the cave. His communication is also on point. I highly recommend going as early as possible in the day as it gets busier as the day progresses. Dennis expertly maneuvered us around other groups and through the tight spaces. His instructions, demonstrations, and encouragement made it all possible. At the end of the tour, we were delighted to find out that his wife had prepared a delicious picnic meal for us. Given the inherent danger of a cave it was important to me to have a solid guide we could trust. If this is important to you as well, be sure to book him as soon as your dates are finalized. The experience will probably be one of the most memorable from our travels - we learned later that it’s a bucket list item for a lot of world travelers and having experienced it first hand with Dennis, we can see why. Sorry - no pics - cameras aren’t allowed in the cave. Thanks again Dennis!!!

Dennis is a class act! He is extremely knowledgable about the area and was always confident & clear when giving instructions in the ATM cave. If you are looking to do a cave tour, be sure to ask Dennis. My wife and I had an incredible time in the cave learning about the deep history it contains.
