Beautiful landscapes, average guidance
The landscapes were absolutely beautiful, and the cave tubing was truly breathtaking. Floating along the river through the jungle was an unforgettable experience and definitely the highlight of the tour. Unfortunately, the zip lining was quite disappointing. We spent no more than about 15 minutes there and did only four short lines. We had expected much more, so that part did not meet our expectations. ... more Overall, we felt a bit rushed and somewhat “processed” rather than genuinely welcomed. There was very little communication about what the next steps would be, and we received minimal information throughout the day. It already started with the pickup: the tour was scheduled to begin at 8:45 a.m. I had clearly informed the company well in advance that we would be arriving by boat from Caye Caulker and would need to be picked up at the harbor. We planned everything accordingly and were having a relaxed breakfast at the port when, about 30 minutes before the agreed time, I suddenly received multiple missed calls, messages, and emails within a very short period in which he was asking me where we are and that we need to go right now. We were then greeted by a very stressed and annoyed man who rather sharply told us that he wanted to leave earlier that day. We had no way of knowing this, as no one had informed us. The drive felt rushed and tense, and we did not feel particularly welcome. After that, we were handed over to another guide without any explanation about the schedule or how the day would unfold. The second guide did share some interesting information about the wildlife and a bit of history, but overall it was quite limited. At times, when we tried to ask questions or make comments, we felt ignored, as he would simply continue with his prepared speech. We had hoped for a more engaging and interactive experience, where our questions and interests would be acknowledged. We met other groups in the park and couldn’t help but notice that they were receiving much more detailed and enthusiastic explanations about the Maya culture and the caves, which made us a little envious. It’s a pity, as the natural surroundings were stunning. In the end, we tried to make the best of it and simply enjoy the beautiful scenery.

It appears there was a fundamental mismatch in the type of tour that was booked. Your ... more reservation was for a 'Shore Excursion' package, which is a specialized tour designed exclusively for cruise ship passengers. Because these tours are built around strict cruise ship port times, they operate on a very fast-paced, standardized schedule. Even though there were no cruise ships in port that day and you were arriving by water taxi from Caye Caulker, our team was still operating on that strict, high-paced shore excursion timeline. We understand you were hoping to enjoy a relaxed breakfast after enjoying your night out, so our team trying to expedite the departure definitely caused unnecessary tension. In hindsight, we should not have allowed the shore excursion package to be booked for your specific itinerary, as a standard day tour would have allowed for the relaxed pace you were looking for. Regarding the zip lining, this combo includes a set number of lines to fit within the excursion timeframe, but we understand it left you wanting more. We also apologize that your second guide stuck too closely to a prepared script. We want our tours to be engaging, and we will be speaking with our team to ensure all guests feel their questions are welcomed and answered. Wonderful tour
I guess timing is everything. Turned out to be only my wife and I. Great tour guide with plenty of information and a cordial approach. He took his time, gave us all the opportunity to explore. Highly recommend.

Oh What Fun!!!
We spent the day with Paul, who was funny, kind, and super knowledgeable! The weather in San Pedro had been very windy and rainy (even in January), so it was nice to get off the island for a bit. The cave tubing was tranquil, as we were one of the first to arrive. As an added bonus, we got to hear the howler monkeys!!! The zip lining was spectacular, but be prepared to climb some stairs! We actually ... more ended up at Altun Ha instead of Xunantunich, so I can't comment on this. But the ruins were a sight to see and I was not at all disappointed. One thing to note, the details about the meeting place, etc. were not provided until the evening before. If you're a bit OCD, this might freak you out slightly. The water taxi was located right by the San Pedro 3D letters and the meeting time was 5:30 am for a 6:00 am takeoff. Take this tour!! Jonathan was our tour guide and he was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and very patient. We learned so much about the ruins as well as the flora and fauna all around. The cave tubing was refreshing and had breathtaking views. Highly recommend this tour and Truly Wild Belize tours!

The perfect combo of fun and culture
What a day and what a guide! Paul knows his stuff, both geologically and historically. He was fun to spend the day with and gave us a look at the Beliziean countryside and towns we enjoyed every minute!

Best Tour Guide in Belize
We booked with Dorian and everything was Fantastic. Our tour guide General Wayne was ABSOLUTELY The best. So knowledgable of all things Belize. We learned so much and he was so fun. Our guide was great! Highly recommend this tour company!
We did this tour this week. My husband booked it. The negatives…the driver was supposed to pick us up at 5:30am and didn’t come until 6am which made us miss the right ferry to make it to the larger archeological sight but put that aside and get to the heart of this excursion….OUTSTANDING guide in Paul who picked us up outside the ferry in Belize City in a clean car, wearing a mask, respectful and ... more super professional and friendly. He gave us just the right amount of culture and history about Belize. He brought us to zip line at a really great place that was super safe and tubing in the caves and then to lunch which was delicious and then to Altun Ha. The owner, Dorian, did an outstanding job with this excursion and Paul, our guide made it the perfect family memory. I would highly highly recommend this tour company to everyone!!

I recommend booking last minute...
We ended up not getting to do cave tubing because of the heavy rains. The provider offered zip-lining or the zoo instead, and we choose the zoo since we had all already zip-lined before. It was a very expensive tour for what was included, and the provider did not allow us to cancel even though they couldn't deliver on what we had paid to do. I recommend shopping around for a good price, and not booking ... more cave tubing until you know the weather for the day you will be going. We did enjoy the ruins, and our guide was fairly knowledgeable.

Very Accommodating and Fun!
I hit him up that morning, and he had me and my boyfriend on the road the same day. we did the private tour for two people where he took us to do cave tubing followed by visiting the mayan ruins. For it to be last minute, we had to rush, but we made it to everything and I'm very grateful for that. He was very knowledgeable about various points along the way, and he has a fun personality.
