Beautiful location , friendly staff. Clean locations, great view of water, casitas are very nice and clean.Met alot of people.but got to enjoy swimming without overcrowding would come back anytime to this location

Nice Hidden Gem
Mainland Belize has a small number of beaches in spite of its long coast line. This is one of the few and is located on the remote Chetumal bay.This is one secluded, out of the way, little gem that indeed makes the long trip from Bze City worh it.One can see in Orchid bay why Huxley said Belize would be a world´s end. Not necesarily a bad thing.The sea is a feast for the eyes. Its water ranges from ... more white to a placid greenish-turquoise; not blue. Its temperature just about the right type of warm to be refreshing.The restaurant well stocked with amenities. A nice place to chillax even if it rains. The hotel staff is as warm as they come providing the right mix of service and chat, keeping distance when required and proximity when needed.The "casitas" or huts have everything for a confortable and cool stay. Bring groceries, though, if you want to use the kitchen and crockery.The night is nicely lit by the bustle of nearby, but not chokingly close, Chetumal in the North and Corozal in the west
