Description
The semi-private option has the same itinerary as our regular Mexico Rocks Day Sail (minimum 8 and maximum 16 guests) but with a minimum of only 4 guests and the guarantee of no more than 8 guests on board. This is something unique with us on the island, a great option to avoid crowds but yet share the fun with some other guests.
Our semi-private tours are also upgraded with our *Premium* Belizean buffet: Our captain's BBQ fish with veggies and secret sauce and our chef's home-made stewed chicken, rice and beans, flour tortillas, coleslaw, pico de gallo and fried sweet plantain.
*Premium* - the buffet on our semi-private tours also includes corn on the cob and your choice of 2 skewers: shrimp, beef, or mushroom

Explore the pristine Northern coast of Ambergris Caye, with amazing blue waters and beautiful views along the way. While we start our morning sail, we serve you fresh fruit and meat pies. At the end of 2015, Mexico Rocks became a part of the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, to protect its rich marine life and precious corals. We do our first stop for snorkeling there and then continue to our favorite spot - a shallow area close to the reef, that is just like a natural pool (great for non-swimmers as well)! Here we make a break to relax in the shallow warm water, while the crew prepares our famous *Premium* Belizean buffet on-board. After lunch, we return South doing a second snorkel stop at Tres Cocos. An open bar with local rum, vodka, gin, soft drinks, and juices is included. Try the specials, rum punch, and "panty rippers"!

Mexico RocksMexico Rocks is an area of huge coral heads scattered all over this snorkeling spot - making it look like a Mexican sombrero, as some say the name comes from. These enormous coral formations contain large brains corals, gorgonians, sea fans and sea whips which provide shelter for an abundance of critters. Common creatures like angelfish, butterfly fish, groupers, snappers, file fish, grunts can be seen swimming along these formations as well as a casual loggerhead turtle. In the end of 2015, it became a part of the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, to protect its rich marine life and precious corals.
Natural poolThis is an exclusive stop that only we make - we have the advantage of only drafting 2 feet which makes it possible to anchor in such shallow water, and we are also blessed with a Captain that know the spots where nobody else goes. This is a shallow area just by the reef and except from spectacular views it is also a unique setting and a refreshing break. The water is only 4-5 feet deep.
Belizean buffetincluding stewed chicken, BBQ fish with veggies and our captains secret sauce, rice and beans, flour tortillas, coleslaw, pico de gallo and fried sweet plantain
Tres CocosSouth of Mexico Rocks closer to town is Tres Cocos, a small concentration of marine life along the reef where a large amount of fish can be seen. You can encounter a large population of Elk Horn corals, Lettuce Coral, Brain Coral, Sergeant Majors, Angel Fish, Damselfish, Fairy Basslet, Hawks-bill Turtles and occasional Green Turtles just to name a few. This area is an entrance for large reef fish that usually lurk around these areas in search for food.
Open barCocktails: the Belizean national drinks Rum Punch & Panty Ripper (based on coconut rum and pineapple juice). Local rum (white, dark and coconut), local vodka and local gin all from the popular Cuello's Distillery Soft drinks: Coca Cola, Coca Cola Light, Sprite, Fanta (orange, fruit punch, ginger, grapefruit), tonic and soda water. Juices: Orange, pineapple, lime and fruit punch. Water.

Mexico Rocks Day Sail
We had a great day with Charlie and Raul. Highly recommend Mexico Rocks with no crowds and more lobster than I’ve seen on a dive or snorkel. We saw 6 spotted rays during the ride, along with 1 big turtle that breached the water hard. Charlie has a wealth of knowledge about the reef and quite the host. Raul chummed up a bunch of sting rays (one blue in color) and pointed out numerous animals along ... more the way. The elkhorn and brain coral at Tres Cocos were majestic. The food was just right and “Panty Ripper” drinks were great. As Charlie would say “Wicked.” Thanks Guys for a great day in the sun on and in some incredible water .

Great snorkeling trip!
Luis & capitán Claudio gave us a great day! Luis really knows his stuff! He showed us so much stuff that we would’ve missed. Lion fish, lobster, damsel fish, in addition all the parrot fish, stop light fish, angel fish, etc…..delicious breakfast & lunch & drinks!! I also liked that they had cushion/chair things on the deck… made for a very comfortable ride to the snorkel site…
