Belize International Film Festival
The Belize International Film Festival is an annual event that brings together top world films and filmmakers in Belize for four days. The festival focuses on independent films produced in Belize and other Central American countries and Caribbean countries that display storylines celebrating cultural diversity, topical social issues and stories of resistance.
2023 Belize International Film Festival
The 2023 Belize Film Festival starts on November 3rd with screenings at the Bliss Center for Performing Arts. Screenings will be held throughout the week. Please refer to the schedule for accurate dates and times.

1. Private Vehicle:
a. If you own a vehicle or has access to a private vehicle and have a valid driver’s license, you can drive to the selected location. This is the easiest and most recommended option for transportation.
2. Aircraft:
a. There are domestic flights to all five of the screening locations available via Tropic Air and Maya Island Air.

3. Rentals/Charters/Shuttles:

4. Public Transportation (Buses):
a. On the mainland, buses can take you anywhere along the highways. Getting on a bus would require you to go to the town’s bus terminals or wait at the road side of a main road.

a. This option is convenient if you are anywhere close to the selected screening locations.

Registration is required for a full access pass. BelizeIFF pass includes access to Opening and Closing Night Events, all films as well as a festival t-shirt and souvenir bag. Yes, the Belize International Film Festival Committee is accepting submissions for the 2018 Belize International Film Festival. The deadline for submissions is May 31, 2018.
